So that time has (FINALLY) come for my final post from the UK. My flight’s booked for Monday night so now it’s time to shake a leg
and start getting all my stuff together for the long journey back to China!

In honour of my departure I tweaked a well-known poem for you pleasure:
‘Twas the week before departure, when all
through my home,
Many-a creature was stirring – mainly
my dogs with their bones;
Preparations were being made for my long
trip back,
The packing of my rucksack, not forgetting
plenty of snacks;
I’ve had many larks and jolly japes back in
the UK,
And truth be told, I am sad to have to go
away;
Alas, it’s back to teaching and spreading
British cheer,
But fear not friends and fam! – it’s only
for another year;
I’ll certainly miss all the company and
especially the drink and food,
Like cheese, pastry and of course coffee – a
love recently renewed;
So, dear readers, wish me luck and bon
voyage once again,
Adieu and farewell to
all, and to all a zaijian!
